Does the External MS SQL DB connection support Windows Authentication

Issue/Introduction

When deploying the Symantec IGA  (CA Identity Suite) 14.4 components (Identity Portal, Identity Manager and, Identity Governance) running on the vApp (Virtual Appliance) with an External MS SQL Database, can you connect using Windows Authentication? Or is native SQL Server authentication the only supported method?

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

Out of the box,  the Virtual Appliance does not support Windows Authentication for the MS SQL External DB connection in 14.4 vApp. The only supported option is native SQL authentication.
