Issue/Introduction

Is there a metric for evicted pods?

The UMA agent does not report any metric that can be used to generate alarm when some pod was evicted.

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : Integration with APM

Resolution

An enhancement requested was already raised in order to have a metric for an Evicted POD in UMA Agent, it will be evaluated and put in our backlog to be deployed soon.
To follow up on the status of this request, please raise a ticket on https://support.broadcom.com/ and refer to this knowledge article in order to get the status.

As a workaround, you can try to use the below metric:
- Total NonRunning Pods: Total number of pods in the node that are not in the Running state.
