When did SOURCE START become the default?

Resolution

VM:Secure solution RO94110 (dated Feb. 2017) is the enhancement PTF that made SOURCE START the default.

This was an enhancement to disable the quick startup of VM:Secure using the online directory in order to reduce complexity and increase reliability.  The system will now create at startup a new online directory structure using the source statements in its database.

Additional Information

When we changed VM:Secure to automatically ALWAYS initialize with SOURCE start, we now only issue message 182I since there is no longer a reason (ie: Source requested or error in quickstart) for a SOURCE start, we just do it.  For that reason, message 738I is no longer issued.
