Cloning of physical servers for Siteminder High Availability solution

Issue/Introduction

 

When running an environment including Vapp, Policy Server, Web Agent
and Advanced Authentication, can these servers can be cloned to another
environment for High Availability purpose ?

 

Resolution

 

At first glance, concerning Siteminder, by cloning the environment,
changes IP addresses and other related host details will be
needed. All this will have impact on encryption among the others. As
such, out of the box this won't work and many manual configuration
changes will still be needed.

Siteminder provides no documentation to realize an entire environment
clone and as such this goes out of our Support scope.
