Issue/Introduction

For data sets, a rule like DSN.&LID is possible, however, when a test was run for a resource rule using MCSOPER.&LID, the rule didn't work.

Environment

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Cause

APAR RO54827 implemented &LID in ACF2 R15.0. It includes the following text: "&LID is not supported in Resource rules".

Resolution

&LID can be used in dataset access rules, but not in resource access rules. 

Also, per ACF2 R15.0 APAR RO62767, &LID can be used in the OMVS USER Profile 'HOME' field.
