Deliver - "CA Deliver not active" message received

Issue/Introduction

This is a newly installed of the View/Deliver products.

When a user went to create a report, they received the message "CA Deliver not active".

Component : CA Deliver

Resolution

The short message "CA Deliver not active" relates to one of the following long messages:

  . Checkpoint not available - &PRD started task is not active
  . Delete requires active &PRD task
  . Started task must be up to activate
 
Upon receiving the short message, when [F1] is pressed, the long message is received. 

Whichever of the above long messages is received, it is an indication that the related RMOSTC started task must be active to perform the desired function.

In this instance, the client had entered the Primary panel command "A R", to display Active Reports, but the RMOSTC task had not been active.
