Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to call .bat file in the Fileassoc.properties to Open PDF with users Default PDF Viewer?

Cause

Fileassoc.properties is used for is to tell AM what type of program to use depending on what output extension is being opened and is not for running .bat files.

Resolution

The fileassoc.properties is used for is to tell AM what type of program to use depending on what output extension is being opened. It was not meant to be used to run a batch script (.bat).

At this time, it is not possible to call a .bat file using  fileassoc.properties.

However, you can log a feature request (enhancement) via Ideation on our Broadcom communities at community.broadcom.com  OR engage your local accounts team  to explore possibility for customization if any.
