Autosys - After Agent Uninstallation it is saying the service is still runnning.

Issue/Introduction

After the uninstallation of Autosys agent, attempt to install the agent again says the service is still runnning. 

 

Error : 

Agent Service to Start Automatically at System Startup Autosys Mode

system startup

  ->1- Start the Agent Service Automatically at System Startup
    2- Do not Start the Agent Service Automatically at System Startup

Duplicate UNIX Service
----------------------

A service with the same Agent name 'WA_AGENT' already exists.  The agent
cannot be registered to start automatically at system startup.  Disable the
automatic startup or change the Agent name to be unique.

Resolution

You can check if the /etc/init.d  folder has the agent start scripts.

waae_agent-WA_AGENT

If this exists then it will not allow you to install the agent with the same name.
