Issue/Introduction

smps.log and smtracedefault.log shows milliseconds in the time format since R12.8SP3.

[sample]
[752/4944][Thu Oct 14 2021 14:04:55.001][XPSIO.cpp:587][CXPSIO::InitialLoad][INFO][sm-xpsxps-00300] 1 Parameter(s) loaded from Policy Store, 1 total.

On R12.8SP5, this shows as below.
[752/4944][Thu Oct 14 2021 14:04:55.1][XPSIO.cpp:587][CXPSIO::InitialLoad][INFO][sm-xpsxps-00300] 1 Parameter(s) loaded from Policy Store, 1 total.

This causes confusion if this is 100 milliseconds or 001 milliseconds when analysing performance (such as the TraceAnalysisTool).

Environment

Release : 12.8.05

Component : SITEMINDER -POLICY SERVER

Resolution

This issue is fixed on R12.8SP6.

Additional Information

An updated version of TraceAnalysisTool that can handle this single digit millisecond will be made available on the communities.
