Is running sql updates against Applications Manager database schema supported?

Resolution

Unless absolutely necessary, Broadcom Support does not recommend or support sql updates of Applications Manager schema objects.

Running sql updates can cause data issues that can last a long time and can be even tougher to track and fix.

With this is mind, sql update requests or column/table information requests will be reviewed on a case to case bases.

Unless sql statements are provided by Support, any sql updates made will not be supported, so it is highly recommended that database backups are taken before making any sql updates.
