Issue/Introduction

 "Logical Attribute: |enable| had error: java.lang.NullPointerException" error is due to corrupted password data of the user.

 "Logical Attribute: |forcePasswordReset| had error: java.lang.NullPointerException"

 

Cause

Error is due to corrupted password data of the user.

Not all users are necessarily affected.

Resolution

 

Clear the password data attribute of affected user(s) using JXplorer or a similar LDAP browser and then do Modify User.
