Error adding to cluster - Failed to populate the database for Identity Governance

Issue/Introduction

While trying to deploy the Identity Governance, to a new Virtual Appliance node, to the cluster

 

The HotFix "DBUTIL-UNIV-FIX-20200518-001" is already applied to the environment.

 

The error message in the Virtual Appliance log:

Updating TMS database
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK__TMS_VERS__C30268817C173818'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.TMS_VERSION'. The duplicate key value is (09.02.16.01)

 

 

Environment

Virtual Appliance 14.x

Cause

There is a duplicated row in the TMS_VERSION table

Resolution

Check the TMS_VERSION table and check if there is a row with the value mentioned in the log, in this case, "09.02.16.01"

Delete that row with the value "09.02.16.01" and rerun the deployment process.
