sdmpcimg fails with errror Timeout while waiting for response from the server

Issue/Introduction

During OSIM installation, "sdmpcimg -l" is executed and is failing with error :

C:\ca-osim>sdmpcimg -l

Client Automation - Any Versions

Resolution

sdmpcimg -l sends a DCHP request to 255.255.255.255 using source port UDP 68 and destination port UDP 4011

 

Make sure that port UDP 4011 is opened in both direction between target computer and the SD Boot Server.
