Issue/Introduction

Windows error message indicating low virtual memory on the Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Enforce server.

Error:
Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: java.exe (5300) consumed 2652389376 bytes, java.exe (7632) consumed 1950392320 bytes, and java.exe (5040) consumed 1267175424 bytes.

Server 2016 – 10.0.14393 Build 14393 on a VM (Vmware)
8 GB RAM
DLP 15.8

Resolution

After doubling the RAM on the Enforce server to 16 GB the issue was resolved.
