Mixed case characters in passphrase attribute in RACF v2 connector

Issue/Introduction

When we change passphrase on z/OS we are able to use mixed case characters.

However, if we try to set password in RACF v2 connector with mixed or lower case passphrase, all the lower case characters are converted to upper case.

Environment

Release : 14.x

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Cause

The problem is on the endpoint side.

The endpoint for RACF v2 connector is CA LDAP server for z/OS.

Resolution

APAR is available to fix the problem
