Our encryption partner Echoworx will be performing a scheduled maintenance, beginning October 21, 2021, starting at 19:00 UTC, for a duration of 2 hours.
There will be no impact for Email Security.cloud customers using Echoworx Encryption. All aspects of our service will continue to function as normal.
Key points as part of this maintenance release:
For PBE Advanced clients only
o PBE Advanced Encrypted ZIP Attachments Only

For PBE Essentials and Advanced clients
o When a message contains a long URL, the URL will be wrapped to be more readable in a PDF processed by HPS.
o When a user clicks a link in a message, the linked page will open in a new tab. This will keep the recipient Web Portal session live in the current tab, while the user is redirected to the linked page in a new tab. When a user clicks a third-party website link in a message and an enterprise policy to warn the user about third-party links is enabled, the users will be prompted with a warning.
o As of version 12.1.0, the recipient Web Portal and the EMG Admin Console will not be supported on the Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 desktop browser.
o The Online Help is moving to the Secure Portal. This will add consistency to the notification emails. The root domain for the Online Help will change:
The new templates will be added as selectable items in Data Protection at a later time, but the administrator email addresses used for the redirect action will be usable from release date.
