Does Top Secret automatically support Mixed Case Passwords?

Resolution

In Top Secret r15.0 and above, the NEW_PASSWORD Security File Feature must be displayed as 'active', in order to use the Security File with Top Secret. This is 'activated' by default, for Security Files created in Top Secret r14.0 and later, or in Top Secret r12.0 and lower, by running TSSXTEND with the NEWPWBLOCK Keyword specified.

Once the Security File is converted, it doesn't have to be converted again to use Mixed Case Passwords in the next release. In other words, if the Security File in Top Secret r12.0 was converted to use Mixed Case Passwords, it doesn't need to converted again for Top Secret r14.0.

CAUTION: To use Mixed Case Password support, you will either need to make sure all of your Applications, including CICS, TSO, etc., support Mixed Case, before turning it on or use the 'MULTIPW' Feature.
