UIM 20.3 - Operator Console Alarm View Refresh: "Update View"

Issue/Introduction

We recently upgraded our UIM from 20.1 to 20.3.3 including the recent September patches.

We noticed that in the OC's Alarm view when a new alarm is generated the alarm list is freezing with a pop up asking us to update the list

What is the logic behind this behaviour?

Below is the logic behind the alarm refresh in alarm console implementation:

•  With 20.3.3, Alarm Console will be auto refreshed every 30 sec. Both the Summary and Table widgets will be updated automatically with the refresh.

•  When any row is selected in the alarm console table, then there will be a notification appearing with the new alarm updates, instead of the automatic refresh. This helps the user to complete the action on the selected alarm before the refresh happens.
