Getting an error return code from a SENDJOB to XCOM for Windows

Issue/Introduction

The SENDJOB return code is now compatible with that returned by CA XCOM for UNIX and Linux.

Environment

Release: XCOM Data Transport for Windows
Component: xcpcnt

Resolution

XCOM now sends back the return code received when a SEND_JOB transfer has failed.

• Check the error message for the return code:

XCOMN0288E System function failed, RC=11

• Look up the return code on the Microsoft website.  This is the return code from when the job is submitted to the Microsoft operating system. 

NOTE: The return code is also be returned for any of the XCOM user exits (XCOMPRE, XCOMPP, XCOMEND) that generate an ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILED error as well.
