Issue/Introduction

You need to upgrade your Broadcom/Symantec DLP OCR (Optical Character Recognition) server from an older version.

Environment

Any DLP OCR server version

Resolution

There is no upgrader or migrator for the DLP OCR server. You have to uninstall the old version and then install the new version. To uninstall the OCR server simply run the uninstall.exe file located in the DLP server's root folder. You can then install the new OCR version. DLP OCR server is only supported on Windows and not Linux or Mac OS. Repeat these steps for all OCR servers that need to be upgraded.
