What is the Frequency/interval for the "Altiris Client task agent " check with the respected task server?
How frequently does SMA check with the task server for registration ( if it fails to register to the task server )?

Frequency/interval for " Altiris Client task agent " check with the respected task server?
This frequency/interval is controlled by the task setting "Check Task Server for new tasks every:" under Settings>All Settings>Notification Server>Task Settings>Task Agent Settings. By default, it is set to 30min.
How frequently does SMA check with the task server for registration ( if it fails to register to the task server )?
If client task agent registration was lost then the first attempt will be performed in 1 minute. If registration fails, then the next attempt will be in 15 seconds, 30, 60, 120, 240, 300, 300, 300 … 300 seconds.
The retry attempts are a bit randomized in 1-minute intervals, i.e. if it is scheduled to be in 240 seconds, then it will occur in intervals of 210 – 270 seconds.
This is hardcoded and no specific setting can be used to change this frequency.
