Issue/Introduction

While starting Database Management for Db2 for z/OS Xmanager task encountering the following message:
GEN0915 Health Checker request failed, RC= 40, RSN= 0, Function=INITIALIZE are generated in log file.

Resolution

RC=40 on the Health Checker initialization request indicates that the Health Checker common service is not installed. If you are using the IBM Health Checker service and are interested in the
integration with Broadcom products (including the Db2 tools), you will also need to install the Health Checker common services delivered with CCS (Common Services).
