Why do I sometimes see an IP address in the audit trail instead of a hostname ?

Issue/Introduction

From the UVMS audit trail, the hostname is sometimes visible as an IP address instead of an actual hostname.
Why ?

Release : 6.10

Component :

Cause

This is because the IP address displayed in the UVMS audit trail is not resolved (DNS) on the UVMS server.

Resolution

Add the corresponding IP address in the hosts file or in the DNS.
