F5 Load balancer not discovering in Spectrum when using SNMP V3.

Issue/Introduction

F5 Load balancer devices are discovered with SNMP V2.

While trying to discover with SNMP V3, the device is not discovering.

Please find the device details below :

( F5 Load balancer ) Version ---> BIG-IP 13.1.3.6 Build 0.0.4 Point Release 6

Environment

Release: All 

Component : Spectrum Discovery & Modeling

Cause

Device is not responding to SNMPv3 requests even through the credentials being used are correct

Resolution

This is an F5 Bug relating to SNMPv3:

Information in snmpd.conf files may be overwritten causing SNMP v3 queries to recieve 'Unsupported security level' errors

Resolution:

Delete and recreate the SNMPv3 profile on the F5 Device
