Issue/Introduction

In situations where there is no abend to allow setting a slip trap dump, but something needs investigation in the DRAS started task, an IPCS formatted Command dump is needed, AMBLISTS, and the complete DRAS task output as described below. The Dump documentations are the Standard Instructions based on SDSF.

Resolution

Issue at the MVS console:

/DUMP COMM=(<text>)

Where text is the Dump Title and description from 1 to 100 characters

JES will then ask for a reply such as:

* id IEE094D SPECIFY OPERAND(S) FOR DUMP COMMAND

Where id is the reply number

For the Reply specify the following:

/id asid=(<hex asid>),sdata=(csa,psa,lpa,sqa,lsqa,rgn,trt,grsq,sum,swa),end

Where the hex asids from the da screen for the task is used

Also, along with the complete DRAS task output, please send AMBLISTS from the active CAILIB for CAHFSPT and CAHFDRAS with the SYSIN:

Please also terse the complete DRAS Task Output and send it along with the COMM Dump.
