Issue/Introduction

Service Desk can be configured to use EIAM authentication. Can we use EIAM to import contacts into Service Desk repository?

Environment

Release : 17.3

Component : SDMEEM

Resolution

It is not possible to use EIAM to import the LDAP contacts into Service Desk contact repository. EIAM is used for authentication purpose only.

Service Desk managers should install LDAP options and then use pdm_ldap_import to import LDAP contacts.
