Issue/Introduction

Getting a pop up stating 'Symantec WSS Agent already running' while login on computer.

Environment

WSS Agent 7.4.1

Cause

Unknown at this time. The wssa-ui.exe is started twice and the second execution is causing the pop-up to appear.

This is happening randomly to a very limited hosts (less than 1%).

Resolution

The issue is resolved in WSSA v7.5.1 and later.  The pop-up is harmless and the dialog box can be dismissed.
