We are using ultimate thread group and multi-test scenario.
Would like to know how ramp-down in ultimate thread group works.
while ramp down does the thread completes the current iteration till the last transaction
and stops or finish the current request and stops.
BLAZEMETER PERFORMANCE TESTING
in all ramp-down situations, no new iterations begin after the shutdown command is issued.
But any existing thread/iteration is allowed to continue as long as necessary to complete the business task defined, unless "terminate now" is selected.
If you use the BlazeMeter load configuration override, it disables the ramp-down.
NOTE:
Ultimate Thread Groups have the power to drastically change the final concurrent threads/executions and should be used WITH EXTREME CAUTION!!! It is VERY EASY to have an exponential increase in system resource consumption and is particularly problematic for OPLs
