Issue/Introduction

On 04-10-2021 at 8:50 our UAT environment fully and randomly did a graceful stop and restart.  I have confirmed that no one on our side did a 'Service Stop Start All' or any variant of that call.

Component : CLARITY INTEGRATIONS & INSTALLATIONS

Resolution

The beacon system log reflected a Windows System reboot

what I do see is this in the beacon log2021/10/04 08:50:48.230 | Machine is shutting down.
2021/10/04 08:50:48.275 | Machine is shutting down.
2021/10/04 08:50:48.275 | Machine is shutting down.
2021/10/04 08:50:48.275 | Machine is shutting down.
2021/10/04 08:50:48.950 | E:\PPM\clarity\.setup\scripts\servicestatus.js(24, 1) (null): A system shutdown is in progress. 

 

This is a script used for Windows to check the service status.

At some point, the script got a message returned: 

"A system shutdown is in progress"

This would have come from the Windows OS
