We have an Identity Manager 14.2 (no CP) installation on Linux. We had a need to remove all provisioning components and re-install them. We were able to uninstall the components. However, when we are re-installing the Provisioning Directory, we are getting the following error:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Cannot Install CA Identity Manager - Provisioning Directory
The pre-requisite CA Directory was not detected. Please install or upgrade to
CA Directory r12.X and re-run this installation.
dxserver 14.1.00 (build 15741) Linux 64-Bit

Why are we getting this error? How does the installer "DETECT" CA Directory?
Release : 14.2
Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)
This problem happens when the user that is running the installer does not have the profile settings for environment variables like %DX_HOME% and therefore cannot find the CA directory installer.
