Issue/Introduction

We've started deploying Identity Manager 14.4 on Linux, connected to Microsoft SQL server and noticed the following sql files under the product install directory.

Do these scripts get initialized when IDM starts up or do we need to run them manually?

[IDM_HOME]/IAM_Suite/IdentityManager/tools/db/taskpersistence/sqlserver/sqlserver_enable_ts_sequence_number.sql
[IDM_HOME]/IAM_Suite/IdentityManager/tools/db/taskpersistence/sqlserver/sqlserver_enable_ts_sequence_number_archive.sql

Environment

IM 14.4

Resolution

There should be no need to run the scripts manually. The installer and/or startup process will run the sql.

The scripts are added to the /tools directory in case there is some later need to rebuild the task persistence database.
