Issue/Introduction

Uproc failure with below error:

Error connecting to the IO server: o_connect_auth returns -1: (WinSock): Invalid argument

Error getting conf from IO server: o_get_conf_from_io returns -1

Cannot load environment

Error uxset info: Launch database access error

 

In the universe.log we can see below error:

|ERROR|X|uni|pid=2892.6820| o_connect_auth | k_connect_auth_timeout returns error [200]

|ERROR|X|uni|pid=2892.6820| u_io_callsrv_gen | o_connect_auth in error [-1]

Environment

Release : 6.x

Component : Dollar Universe

Cause

Unknown, mostly related to lack of dynamic ports or overload of the IO server

Resolution

Reduce the load of the IO server
