Issue/Introduction

The following message appears running TSSRPTST:

 

TSS41029 INSUFFICIENT AUTHORIZATION 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Cause

TSSRPTST will generate information for users under the scope of the user running the job. If the user running the job is a TYPE=USER this user does not have other users under his scope so the job fails.

This is why an MSCA or SCA is what we generally recommend for all our reports.

 

Resolution

Run TSSRPTST with an Admin used (MSCA, SCA, DCA..)
