SOI Console not getting new alerts

Issue/Introduction

The SOI Console is no longer getting any new alerts from any connectors.

Environment

Release : 4.2

Component : Service Operations Insight (SOI) Manager

Resolution

The java.exe for the CA SOI Integration Services on the SOI Manager server was stuck using almost 9GB of memory and 97% CPU.

This prevented the internal connectors like EventManagementMidTierConnector which process new/update alerts from working.

 

Stop the CA SOI Integration Services and kill the java.exe process because it was not shutting down. 

We restarted the CA SOI Integration Services, now the SOI Console is showing new alerts.
