BIND record is failing with a 1408 error. Easytrieve IDMS using NEWFUNC = Y

Issue/Introduction

An Easytrieve IDMS program that was converted to NEWFUNC = Y.

BIND  record is failing with a 1408 error. 

The issue is it looks like the record name is being cut off at 15 chars in the NEWFUNC = Y mode.
