BridgeUploaderSrv.exe crashes when connecting through a proxy

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to enroll an Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) to the Integrated Cyber Defense Manager (ICDM), the Bridge Uploader service crashes after a short period of time.  Restarting the service results in additional crashes.

Cause

An encoding issue with the proxy username would result in the crash if some special characters were in the username. 

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.3 RU4. For information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Protection, see Download Symantec Enterprise Security software.
