Endpoint Security client password settings not working

Previously in SEPM there is the ability to set a password that is required to stop the client service, uninstall the client or import / export policies.  This is working fine in SEPM, however the password is not being accepted in SES.

In SES a 32 digit password was set, but received an error that the password is incorrect at the client:



This is a known issue. The password length limit is 19 characters, but the interface does not enforce this.


Create a password that is 19 characters or less in length. This will resolve the issue.

This issue is under review to be fixed in a future version.
