User list view shows additional columns

Issue/Introduction

A user has got extra columns visible in a portlet apart from the ones added in the portlet configuration.

The list view displays some columns that are not added to the Portlet List Column Layout > Selected columns.

How can we align the portlet list view to the configuration selected? 

Cause

The user view got corrupted

Resolution

On the affected portlet:

1. Go to the Configuration wheel

2. On the List Column Section > List Column Layout > Click on Save and Return

3. This should overwrite the current column display by the selected columns layout

If the above does not help:

1. Take note of the columns selected

2. Go to the Configuration wheel > Options

3. On the General tab click on Restore Defaults

4. Add the previously noted columns once again to the List Column Section > List Column Layout > Selected Columns section

5. Save and Return
