The size of resolution field of knowledge documents is 32768.
Can we increase its size?
If not, what options we have for lengthy knowledge documents?

We don't recommend increase the size of resolution field of knowledge documents. Instead, the following options can be considered for lengthy documents
1: Some contents of a knowledge document can be in an external file and you can attach the external file as an attachment of the knowledge document. in fact, you could attachment multiple files to a knowledge document and have the resolution field as reference to the attachments to save space.
2: You could also split big KD into a couple of knowledge documents and use related knowledge tab to "link" them together.
