Issue/Introduction

The following error messages are seen in the Agent logs on two Task Servers:

Error in loop of sending events. Will be retried in 120 seconds.
Unrecognized Guid format.

Resolution

Things to check:

1. Please check the registry on the problematic computer:
   Check that "MachineGuid" in "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Altiris\eXpress\NS Client\NSs" exists and it is not empty.
2. As well, check that you are not by mistake manually targeting the Altiris Agent installation over and over this machine.
3. The last resource, reinstall the Altiris Agent and its plug-ins.
