How do I Get Email Notifications of upcoming SiteMinder upgrades/alerts?

Issue/Introduction

How can I get added to a mailing list to receive notifications of product updates, security patches etc for the Siteminder products?

Resolution

To sign up for Proactive Notices;

Customers need to sign in and go into the "Symantec Enterprise Security" section of the portal (or any page that offers them the "My Tools" pull down at the top of the screen).

 

From there........

 

  1. The customer selects "My Tools" --> "Subscription", as follows:

  1.  From here, the customer can sign up for alerts by clicking on the four checkboxes signifying "Critical Alerts", "Advisory", "Product Update", and "Security Advisory" in the row next to the product of their choice:
