Robot installation completes, but controller crashes immediately after starting

Issue/Introduction

The robot was installed to Windows server via Powershell using the following command:

nimsoft-robot-x64.exe /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART

The error logged in the event viewer is:

Faulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version 10.0.14393.3659

The controller logs do not provide any insight into the cause.

Environment

• Release: 20.3 or higher
• Component: UIM - ROBOT

Cause

• Powershell installation does not allow complete and proper installation of the robot.

Resolution

1. Use the Windows Command Prompt to run the same command and complete the robot installation. 
2. After doing this, the robot should come up without controller crashes.
