Metrics in SaaS not reflecting what MQ Explorer is reporting

Issue/Introduction

InfrastructureAgent Release 21.6.0.26 (Build 990026)

Using Java VM version "OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 1.8.0_302" from Temurin

 

We noticed that metrics were not matching to the metrics found in MQ Explorer for dead letter queue.

After restarting the agent, the correct metrics are reporting.  Any ideas on why the metrics weren't updating in SaaS?

Is there something to check to verify if the metrics are in a frozen state or to lets us know the agent needs a restart?

You can check the IntroscopeAgent.log for the following type of messages

QueueBrowserUtil.mqReadActivityMessage An MQException has occured. Reason Code:2042 MQRC_OBJECT_IN_USE
