Unixv2 AIX account does not resume

Issue/Introduction

When AIX account is locked by failed login account, it appears as suspended but when you try to resume it, operation ends success but account is not resumed.

 

Environment

Release : 14.3

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

The Aix account was not resuming because 14.3 cp2 was needing be fixed by ffile jcs-connecor-unix-1.1.0.jar HF-DE506240-20211307-001 in Vaap. 

Another place found the same issue was in External Windows Connector server with 14.3 cp2. To workaround this issue Engineering advised to Stop Connector Server Windows with this issue, copy the jcs-connecor-unix-1.1.0.jar from Vaap Connector that is working patched with DE506240-20211307-001, Start the JCS Service in Windows and finally do a  "Stop", "Update" and "Start" the Unix v2 Bundle inside of IAM JCS Console (http://Host_Name:20443/main) to Bundle update with the new jar copied to the machine. This is a workaround while the official fix is not deployed.
