View - Unable to view/print report due to security

Issue/Introduction

One of our users is facing issues with loading and printing the reports in CA VIEW.

The report gets generated from a CA SPOOL printer and everything was fine from the CA SPOOL side.

When the user loads the report, the JCL gets generated and but the report is not loading.

Release : 14.0

Component : CA View

Resolution

There needs to be UPDATE authority, in whatever external security package is being used, in order to be able to do report loading and printing in View:

 . Function: Print a report, email a report, or mount a tape to access a report
