Error: "An unexpected error has occurred" when deleting a report

Issue/Introduction

In Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) when attempting to delete a report it fails with a red banner stating:

An unexpected error has occurred. This could be due to one of the following: 1) Your session timed out and you selected a link that was no longer valid, 2) You used the browser back or forward button placing the system into an inconsistent state, or 3) The system experienced a temporary problem.

The localhost log shows these entries:

Message: Failed DB query
Message: Exception thrown by class com.vontu.manager.struts.pagebuilder.DisplayAction.execute
Message: [/EndpointIncidentSummary] Unexpected error occurred while processing action
Message: [/EndpointIncidentSummary] 
Cause:
com.vontu.util.jdbc.DatabaseRuntimeException: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00904: "MESSAGEDATE": identificador inválido

Environment

Release: 15.8

 

Resolution

The deletion failed when drilling down to the report in its sub-folder.

We were able to delete the report in "All Reports".
