AWI: Show in Process Monitoring returns multiple hits with similar naming

Article ID: 224401

CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation Engine CA Automic One Automation

In AWI, when doing right-click on an Object (Jobs,script,WF...) from Process Assembly, Monitoring - Show in Process Monitoring

Instead of displaying ONLY the Object that you have selected (as when doing Monitoring - Executions), AWI will display all the objects named *OBJECTNAME* so that causes confusion as you don't know what is the object you were looking for.

Expected behavior, the filter for Process Monitoring adds wildcards at the beginning and the end of the Task Name automatically.

Release : 12.3 and superior

Sub-Component: Automic.Web.Interface (AWI)

At the moment, there is no 'exact match' filter used in Process Monitoring, wildcards are used per default.
This note will be added in the documentation here

Note: As Implicit wildcards are used when pre-populating the Task Name, additional objects that match the object name may be shown.

Additional Information

If you would like to have this feature improved so that an "exact match" field is introduced when searching in Process Monitor, we invite you to open or vote an existing Idea in the Automic Community here.
