Issue/Introduction

How is the Spectrum Tomcat version updated?  Can we download an updated version?

Release : 21.2.x

 

Resolution

DX Netops Spectrum can only upgrade the tomcat version through upgrading the entire product.

Tomcat cannot be downloaded and upgraded manually.

Broadcom has a commitment to securing the product as quickly as we can.  However, Tomcat (as well as other 3rd part applications) need to be tested and verified.

Broadcom will upgrade Tomcat as they become available and on our release schedule for DX Netops Spectrum.  We are unable to provide patches to upgrade Tomcat as a 'one-off'.
