Resolution

In the Windows File explorer, navigate to the extracted/mounted AutoSys iso and right-click on the install.exe file.

Click "Properties" on the pop-up menu.

Select the "Compatibility" tab. Select the checkbox next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then select "Windows 8" in the drop-down below it...

Retry the install after making this change.
