Issue/Introduction

We cannot register a user in the CA Configuration Automation application, the screen appears blank

Configuration Automation - r12 versions

Resolution

There is documentation on how to configure the Access Management in the CCA UI. For this please
go through the link below to apply on the CCA server.

Install EEM Security Certificate and Configure EEM Host Property

 

There was an alternative approach by using the Firefox browser. For this we need to follow the below steps.

1. Open Firefox browser and go to the Settings -> Privacy & Security
2. Look for the Certificates -> Click the View Certificates. It will open the Certificate Manager window.
3. Select Servers -> Click the Add Exception
There is documentation on how to configure the Access Management in the CCA UI. For this please
go through the link below to apply on the CCA server.

 
 
4. Provide EEM Server URL link like below in the specified location and click on the Get Certificate button and Confirm the Security Exception
     https://<EEM-Server-Name>:5250/spin/eiam/eiam.cspI
 
 
 
 

5. Now refresh the browser and login to the CCA UI and go to the Access Management Profile tab. Now you will access the EEM UI.

 


For reference the locally verified CCA UI. It was the latest GA version.
